TPO roof membranes are White, Tan or Gray membranes that have heat welded seams. This membrane can be fully adhered, mechanically attached, and ballasted.
EPDM roof membranes are black membranes and are seamed by the use of butyl tapes. The membranes are very resistant to hail and can be fully adhered, mechanically attached and ballasted.
PVC membranes come in a multitude of colors and have heat welded seams. During the welding process liquid PVC is extruded from the seam insuring a good weld. PVC is resistant to animal fats and is a good solution for restaurant use. Versico is pleased to introduce the new VersiFlex-E PVC membrane compounded with Elvaloy (KEE). Elvaloy KEE (Ketone Ethylene Ester) provides enhanced chemical, heat and UV resistance as well as long-term weldability to the already-proven Versiflex PVC membrane. Elvaloy enhances the performance and extends the useful life of the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products. Because of its high molecular weight, Elvaloy does not migrate out of the PVC membrane, improves low temperature performance and helps to keep the membrane pliable and weldable.
The multitude of steep roofing products range from asphalt shingles, standing seam metals, composite tiles, and single-ply membranes. If you have a pedestrian or traffic area that needs waterproofing or just restored to look new again then Frontier Roofing Systems can help you. For more information follow the link above.
